Zum Aufbau international kooperativer und digital gestützter Professionalisierungsangebote in DaF

Abstract

Bei internationalen Fortbildungskooperationen für Deutsch als Fremdsprache müssen nationale und globale Anforderungen und Realitäten berücksichtigt werden. Fortbildungen tragen zur Professionalisierung von DaF-Lehrkräften bei, sind jedoch häufig empirisch wenig fundiert. Der Beitrag stellt das Fortbildungskonzept des Netzwerks Subsahara-Afrika-Netz DaF Digital (SANDD) vor und berichtet Erfahrungen aus zwei Fortbildungszyklen zu Digitalität und Mehrsprachigkeit. Es werden die Herausforderungen hybrider Fortbildungen in Subsahara-Afrika (SSA) diskutiert, darunter fehlende empirische Studien und kontextspezifische Bedingungen. Abschließend wird auf die Notwendigkeit konsequent bedarfsorientierte Kooperationen zur Professionalisierung von DaF-Lehrenden in Subsahara Afrika hingewiesen.

When it comes to international, academic cooperations on the topic of professionalization in and for German as a foreign language (GFL), national and global challenges as well as realities require consideration. This article presents how professionalization programs are developed within the international Project Sub-Sahara-Africa Net GFL Digital (SANDD) and gives an account of experiences from two continuing education cycles on digitality and multilingualism. Implementing hybrid, academic GFL professionalization programs come with certain challenges, of which context-specific conditions can be identified as the main ones. Concluding, a needs assessment conducted within SANDD is presented and future developments are pointed out.  For the professionalization of GFL teachers a consistently needs-oriented cooperation is paramount.
